Santos / Sao Paulo Cruise Port Guide

Santos is the main cruise port to Sao Paulo, Brazil’s largest cosmopolitan city with around 13 million inhabitants. A shuttle bus service from the Concais Passenger Terminal is provided as the distance is approx. 15 km. From the port to the downtown of Santos is about 1.5km or 25minute walking distance where you can visit the coffee museum and the football memorial, dedicated to the greatest football player Edson Arantes do Nascimento Pele. 
From Santos to Sao Paulo is approx. 70km (40-50min.) bay car and is considered the largest metropolis and is ranked among the most populous cities in the world. 
From the vivid nightlife to the incredible variety of traditional dishes Sao Paulo is an exciting city.
If you love sightseeing you must walk through the most important avenue called Avenida Paulista. Stretching 2.8km Avenida Paulista is the main financial and cultural area. If you like shopping Avenida Paulista offers a large shopping area for different tastes. Avenida Paulista also holds the largest museum, South America's most comprehensive fine-art museum MASP. 
Visited by thousands of tourists each day, one of the tallest buildings in Sao Paulo, Altino Arantes with 35 floors (161m) has to be part of your list of places to visit. The building gives you a great panoramic view of the center of the city, so besides enjoying the view you can also take part of artistic and cultural activities.   
A good place to try the local food, the different types of fruits and vegetables is the Mercado Municipal. It’s a huge public market where you can find everything, including the biggest Mortadella sandwich. The market is located in the historic center of Sao Paulo and it is one of the most visited tourist places in the city.
